BEAR + LILY
[NOTES TO THE VIDEO]
The Bear is about authority, influence, and often wealth. And the Lily is about life, life path, career, and sometimes health.
Together, they suggest an important career, responsibility, maturity, and empowerment. They can also suggest an important chapter ahead.
But they also suggest legal matters. I discovered this interpretation through Titania’s Fortune Cards, and it stuck with me.
BEAR + BOOK + LILY
Education, expertise, and specialization are suggested by this indication. These cards are a call for deepening our knowledge.
They can also represent a book, a thesis, or some kind of contribution to knowledge.
BEAR + LILY + BOOK
In this order, this triplet can point to an important phase ahead but one whose details we do not know yet.
They can also mean that we’re in for a phase of knowledge and learning. Patience is needed to build our expertise. We must do the work.
BOOK + BEAR + LILY
Completing the learning and research can be completed with this order of the cards. Because of the active aspects of the Bear, and because it figures after the Book, we are now ready to apply our knowledge - in our life or in our career.
WOMAN + BEAR + LILY
As the Bear can represent the mother, and the Lily can suggest someone senior or older, then with the Woman, it is very possible that this triplet represents our mother. This likely applies regardless of the position of the Woman.
BEAR + LILY + WOMAN
However, in this order, the Woman can represent a professional connection because she is closest to the Lily. She might be an expert, a specialist, or someone experienced whom we can rely on.
BEAR + LILY + DOG
The Dog is similar to the Woman (or the Man) because it often represents a person. This triplet can refer to a colleague, a professional connection, or a customer. It might also suggest a longtime friend and otherwise, an important connection in our life.
BEAR + DOG + LILY
A competitor can come through the Bear and Dog, but also aspiring to growth and promotion come through as well.
Ambitions for growth and mentorship are also a good way to interpret the card as the Bear is typically someone senior and the Dog someone junior.
DOG + BEAR + LILY
With the Dog and Bear in this order, there is a clearer indication of a progression, from junior to senior, and into being established as suggested by the Lily. Growth is well represented by this triplet.
The Lily can sometimes be associated with health, and in this sense, the idea of aging can come through.
FLOWERS + BEAR + LILY
This is a lovely combination because the Flowers are all around joy and optimism.
In another sense, the Flowers and Lily can be opposite. The Lily is older and Flowers is younger. So again, the idea of growth and unfolding into maturity can be represented in this triplet. Aging well and feeling healthy can also be suggested here. Healing and renewal are likely.
In the context of health, the Bear can refer to weight, appetite, and food. So the triplet can also refer to getting fit, avoiding sluggishness, and putting in some effort to exercise and feeling good.
BEAR + FLOWERS + LILY
Similar interpretations can be made. With the Flowers in the middle, creativity might be in focus. In this sense, it’s a good idea to have confidence in our abilities and to express ourselves. With the Lily, this can even be part of our career.
FLOWERS + BEAR + LILY
A relationship is possible with older or more experienced people. The idea of mentorship and being willing to learn are also suggested, like we say with the Dog. The Flowers is optimistic and open to learning.
BEAR + WHIP + LILY
The Bear and Whip clearly bring up the competitive aspect of the Bear and can even suggest an enemy. This brings up problems and can affect our life in a bigger way.
A loss is possible, especially with the Whip in the middle and since the other cards are more neutral than bright. With the Lily at the end, it’s possible that the issue can cool off.
In the context of health, challenges are ahead because of the Whip in the middle. But with the Bear, putting more effort and exercising can be suggested.
BEAR + LILY + WHIP
With the Whip at the end of the line, it’s more likely that resolution is not in view and a parting is ahead between those involved.
WHIP + BEAR + LILY
Overcoming challenges here is possible because the Whip is in the earlier phases of the story, on the left. With the Bear in the middle, it’s important to be up to the challenge. The Bear can also suggest that we confront them.
And the Lily might also suggest that we rise above them, as it is cool, calm, and mature.
LILY + BEAR + CROSS
The Cross is associated with deeper life lessons, destiny, and sometimes challenges and sacrifice. In this sense it aligns well with the Lily and Bear, because they too are ‘bigger’ cards.
The Cross is also about ‘having to’ do something without having much choice. This is the idea of having to bear one’s cross.
So this triplet can mean that we have to shoulder our responsibilities - and before life makes us do it.
CROSS + LILY + BEAR
An important phase of life is likely ahead here. Because the Cross is closest to the Lily, life and big life questions and lessons are in better view in this triplet.
Important choices are also ahead, and we will need to prepare to bear the consequences of these choices.
LILY + CROSS + BEAR
The Cross in the middle can highlight the ‘having to’ aspect of the Cross, as in having to grow up, having to take on responsibilities, and also doing our best. We have to step up to matters.
The idea of an important phase and life chapter remain a valid interpretation in this triplet, and in fact, in any order of these cards.
Most interpretations apply well to any order of the cards within the triplets. It’s just that sometimes one interpretation stands out more than others in a given order.
